PHASE Nepal is
a not for profit NGO established in 2006 by a group of development
professionals dedicated to supporting poor communities in remote areas of
Nepal. For the last 11 years PHASE Nepal has been implementing Health,
Education and Livelihoods improvement programs in Humla, Bajura, Mugu, Gorkha
and Sindhupalchok districts. Currently, PHASE Nepal's projects on health,
education, livelihoods and reconstruction are funded by number of institutional
and individual donors from different countries. PHASE has over 110 staff
working for different projects.
PHASE Nepal is currently looking for suitable candidates for
following positions to work in its various projects:
1. Position: Staff Nurse (initially for 12 months with possibility of extension)
Duty Station: Project
area based in one of the government health posts in Gorkha, Sindhupalchok,
Humla, Bajura or Mugu districts.
Qualifications: Staff
nurse course passed.
Experience: Minimum
2 years of work experience in clinical setting, seeing patients, providing
nursing care, providing safer mother hood cares, delivery services, new born
care, HMIS recording, reporting and documentation. Candidates who have worked
with the government hospitals, PHC or health posts, have received SBA training
and having good computer skill will be given priority.
Basic Salary and Benefits: NPR
30,000 - 35,000 per month (basic starting salary scale) plus 10% provident fund
after three months of probation period, one month’s salary as festival bonus
after working for a year plus medical facility and insurance. Staff also get
food and remoteness allowances based on the district they are posted (remoter
the district higher the amount).
Responsibilities: The
Staff Nurse will work together with the government health workers in the
respective health posts or health clinics. This will involve both curative as
well as preventive health services. They will provide health education sessions
to the beneficiaries of the catchment area of the health post / clinic.
2. Position : Health Assistant
Duty Station: Project area based in one of the
government health posts in Gorkha, Sindhupalchok, Humla, Bajura or Mugu
districts.
Qualifications: Health Assistant Course passed.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience of working in
clinical setting seeing patients, HMIS recording, reporting and documentation.
Candidates who have worked with the government hospitals, PHC or health posts
and having a good computer skill will be given priority.
