Chemonics seeks an IT Technical Support and Training Specialistfor
the anticipated USAID Nepal Public Financial Management Strengthening
Project. This five-year program is expected to enhance the capacity of
targeted government of Nepal (GON) ministries and agencies to improve
transparency and accountability of public financial management systems.
We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a
difference in the lives of people around the world.
Responsibilities include:
Taking
responsibility of identifying IT technical assistance need for the
specific line ministries and designing and imparting capacity building
activities.
Qualifications:
1. Candidates must have a master’s degree in relevant subject with at least five years practical experience in IT training fields
2. Candidates
must have five years’ experience related to ICT solutions and software
application, particularly in support of e-government initiatives;
assessing communications needs to improve knowledge-sharing; programs
and training to promote efficient and effective technologies; or
developing monitoring systems to incentivize results.
3. Experience in a developing country environment with similar information technology infrastructure challenges is required
4. Candidates must have excellent communication (written and oral) skills in English and Nepali languages.
5. Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity.
