Project Coordinator (School WASH and MHM) Wanted at WaterAid Nepal
Deadline Wednesday 13th March 2015 (17:00 hours) Salary Competitive salary and benefits It’s hard to believe that today 748 million people still don’t have clean, safe water and 2.5 billion live without a toilet. The resulting diseases kill one child every minute. WaterAid is looking for a Project Coordinator to play a vital role in our mission to transform lives with safe water, sanitation and hygiene in the world’s poorest communities. The Project Coordinator will be a member of the Rural Programme team which manages the project for implementation, monitoring and reporting. The Project Coordinator will travel frequently to WaterAid Nepal’s partner offices and project sites for supporting, technical backstopping, and monitoring WaterAid Nepal’s approaches, ensuring accountability towards school WASH and menstrual hygiene management (MHM) in three districts of Nepal- Siraha, Udaypur and Sindhuli. Ensuring girls’ rights through school-based WASH and improved menstrual hygiene management is a DFID funded project of WaterAid Nepal which will support 28,401 school-children and 1,018 teachers gain access to inclusive water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) services enhancing gender equality in 104 schools of three districts of Nepal. By 2030 we want everyone, everywhere to have clean water, sanitation and hygiene. We need you to help us make it happen.
