Bikaas, aimed at empowering local communities to direct their own
development in the Mid- and Far-West Regions of Nepal. Pact is looking

Educational Description
- Master's degree or higher in Gender Studies, Sociology, or other relevant field.
Job Specification
- At least 5 years of experience in GESI- related programs
- Proven track record of capacity building of partner organizations.
- Sound knowledge of GESI policies and provisions of the Government of Nepal and other key agencies such as USAID, UN and so on.
- Demonstrated skills in report writing, networking and coordination.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Nepali. Fluency in other regional /local languages of Mid and Far West Nepal will add value.
- Excellent computer literacy in Word, Excel and PowerPoint are required.
- Open to Nepalese nationals only.
Job Description
The Gender Equity & Social Inclusion Manager (GESI) will have primary responsibility for ensuring effective integration of GESI throughout Sajhedari Bikaas' programming and project implementation. The GESI Manager reports to the Deputy Chief of Party.Provide support and guidance to Implementing Partners (IPs) and staff to identify specific barriers faced by excluded groups in accessing services and opportunities, and the causes of their exclusion at different levels or sites;
- Guide IPs and staff in designing and implementing responses to address exclusion in project areas;
- Adjust implementation (in policies and project design) to flexibly respond to
- Endings and outcomes from GESI-integration;
- Disaggregate data, measurement, and analysis for tracking GESI results and outcomes.
- Integrate GESI messages into all workshops, training programs and outreach or extension activities.
- Apply the “logic” of gender equality and social inclusion.
- Align capacity building and knowledge sharing with GON GESI-sensitive policies and provisions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
