Plan Nepal is seeking to recruit a competent, committed, self-motivated and enthusiastic candidate for the position below:
Livelihood & Microfinance Programme Coordinator based at Makwanpur Programme Unit, Makwanpur: 1Position
This position has a direct line reporting to the Programme Unit Manager at Makwanpur Programme Unit, Makwanpur
Key responsibilities:
  • Develop quality livelihood and microfinance interventions and facilitate their implementation
  • Ensure gender mainstreaming of programme components, analysis and reporting
  • Ensure effective monitoring, accountability and knowledge sharing among partners and beyond
  • Provide effective support to Programme Unit operations in annual plan and budget, programme expenditure and its tracking
  • Facilitate capacity development of families, communities and partner NGOs

Required qualifications & experiences:
  • Masters level in Agriculture or relevant field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in the area of livelihood and microfinance related programmes with I/INGO experience a plus
  • Experience of dealing with partners, government offices and like-minded organisations
  • Good understanding of contemporary development issues, activities and approaches in agriculture, microfinance & natural resource management
  • Competencies in both spoken and written English and Nepali languages along with professional report writing skills
