Pact is looking for highly competent Nepali citizen for the following position to be based in Dhangadhi.

Educational Description

  • Master's degree in Social Science, Rural Development, Engineering or equivalent in relevant field

Job Specification

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience working/ managing local governance and community development projects. Experience in managing small scale infrastructure project will be an added advantage
  • Experience with donor-funded programs (USAID preferred)
  • Experience in supporting and monitoring field-based programs in the regions
  • Excellent computer literacy in Word, Excel and PowerPoint are required
  • English fluency, both in written and verbal
  • Open to Nepalese nationals only
     

Job Description

  • Reporting to the Senior Regional Program Manager, the Governance Manager will serve the Project's technical advisor for local governance and community development component including infrastructure development and small-scale construction
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide Technical guidance to staff and implementing partners on local governmance and community development component of the Project
  • Provide capacity building support to the implementing partners in the areas of local governmance, inclusion, social accountability, community development and program management
  • Monitor partners' program implementation process and performance to ensure compliance with contracted deliverables
  • Coordinate and act as liaison to local bodies, CSOs and other Stakeholders at the field
  • Others as required
