The Capacity Development & Budget
Monitoring Coordinator is primarily responsible for the capacity development,
monitoring and coaching of sub-recipients (SRs) to ensure the sub-agreement to
be signed with SRs and Save the Children as per the prescribed template and
schedule. S/he will implement auditor's recommendations with follow up action
plan. The position holder will lead the planning & budgeting, update the
monitoring tools, conduct the financial training, assist to update the
financial policy/procedure and systems of SRs. S/he will require to make
frequent visits (approximately 90% of total time for regional position and 50%
time for Kathmandu position) to ensure SRs have adequate support to meet and
maintain compliance requirements.
Term and Location: Fixed term position till mid-July 2016 and
will be based in Country Office, Kathmandu (1) Far West Regional Office -
Dhangadhi (1) with frequent (approximately 90% for regional position and 50%
time for Kathmandu position of total time) visits to program areas
equired Qualification: At least Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies or Administration (Master's degree in Business Administration/CA/ACCA preferred) with minimum 4 years of similar work experience
Required Knowledge and Skills: S/he should have knowledge and experience in leading and managing program/projects including program planning, budgeting and partnership management. S/he should have excellent skills in coaching, facilitation, writing reports and documentation. The HIV & AIDS Technical Coordinator
functions as a key technical member of the HIV & AIDS program in monitoring
programmatic performance and supporting the implementation of all HIV related
initiatives of Save the Children. S/he is responsible for technical
oversight and backstopping HIV prevention & care programs and training activities
managed by Save the Children. The position holder will travel frequently to
program areas and work closely with the HIV & AIDS Program
Coordinators/Officers, the SRs of Global Fund Grant and the key populations in
providing technical inputs to ensure quality standards while fulfilling
programmatic objectives.
Term and Location: Fixed term position till mid-July 2016 and
will be based in Country Office, Kathmandu with frequent visits to program

systems, assess technical gaps, and design/develop competency building

The Program Coordinator is responsible for
providing overall strategic and managerial leadership in HIV & AIDS project
supported by Global Fund in the region in such a way that it proves tangible
benefits to the children and targeted communities. S/he is responsible to
provide technical backstopping to SRs which include support in the areas of
migrants, IDUs, MSM/TGs, FSWs, Care and Support to PLHIV and capacity building
of the partners through various approaches including coaching and on-the-job
trainings. The position holder will serve as a focal person for the Global Fund
program in the regional offices and will also be responsible for ensuring
quality delivery of the project at implementing sites by best utilizing the
available resources to attain the HIV & AIDS goal of Save the Children,
adhering to its Country Strategy Plan, and SC’s Global Initiatives.

will be based in Far Western Regional Office with frequent field visits

The Project Officer - HIV & AIDS will be
responsible for timely delivery on HIV& AIDS activities at the
implementation level. S/he is responsible to ensure capacity development
of partners (SRs) through various approaches including coaching and on-the-job
capacity building on the HIV& AIDS theme. S/he will ensure quality delivery
of HIV & AIDS program at implementing sites by maximizing the impact as per
the country strategy and best utilizing the available resources to attain HIV
& AIDS goal of Save the Children adhering to its national strategy and with
its global initiatives, supported by the Senior Project Coordinator and other
relevant team members in the impact area.
