Program Coordinator – Adolescence Development and Community Mobilization (AD & CM)
The Program Coordinator – Adolescence Development and Community Mobilization (AD & CM) is responsible for overall technical and managerial component of the Adolescent development (AD) /Livelihood and Youth program including community mobilization in CASP. The responsibilities also include overlooking the overall project cycle management, extending technical support to government counterparts, AD sub-committee and other implementing partners for planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of AD program at national and sub national levels. S/he will have to be involved in developing and refining the related training package/content and behavior change communication materials and coordinate with other departments and government agencies to achieve the quality results.

Term and Location: Fixed term position till June 2014 / Siraha under East Regional Office

equired Qualification: At least Bachelors in Social Science with minimum 3 years of work experience in the field of Adolescent/ Youth program including livelihood program implementation and management.

Required Knowledge and Skills: S/he should have sound experience mainly in Adolescent/ Youth program in addition to livelihood sector. S/he should have the ability to manage program, monitor the implement program, facilitate, build capacity of partners, write good reports and coordinate with stakeholders. The strong ability to appropriately coordinate and collaborate with government and development partners at national level will be an asset. S/he should have good interpersonal skill, expertise in MS office Package and sound verbal and written communication skill both in Nepali and English language. Ability to work under pressure/stress and adjust to difficult living and working condition will be added benefit for the position. S/he should be reliable, accountable, result oriented, should have highest level of integrity and good team player who values diversity.
Program Coordinator – ASRH CASP
The Program Coordinator – ASRH (Adolescence, Sexual and Reproductive Health) is responsible for overall management of ASRH program. The program will be implemented in three districts namely Kapilvastu, Pyuthan and Siraha. The responsibilities include overlooking the project cycle management viz. program planning, program implementation, monitoring, evaluation, documentation and reporting, enhancing the capacity of partners by providing technical and programmatic support to ASRH team and respective partners. S/he will have to be involved in developing and refining the related training package/content and behavior change communication materials and coordinate with other departments and government agencies to achieve the quality results. S/he will extend technical support to government counterparts, ASRH sub-committee and other implementing partners for planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of ASRH program at national and sub national levels.

Term and Location: Fixed term position till June 2014 / Kathmandu

Required Qualification: At least Bachelors in Public Health (Master in Public Health preferred) with minimum 3 years of work experience in the field of Health and Nutrition program including sexual and reproductive health implementation and management.

Required Knowledge and Skills: S/he should have sound experience mainly sexual and reproductive health program in addition to health and nutrition sector. S/he should have the ability to manage program, monitor the implement program, facilitate, build capacity of partners, write good reports and coordinate with stakeholders. The strong ability to appropriately coordinate and collaborate with government and development partners at national level will be an asset. S/he should have good interpersonal skill, expertise in MS office Package and sound verbal and written communication skill both in Nepali and English language. Logistics and Procurement Officer
The Logistics and Procurement Officer will be responsible for providing efficient logistics and procurement services including management of store/warehousing and distribution of various program supply for various programs and projects. S/he will also be responsible to plan, organize, coordinate, monitor and develop capacity of implementing partners in system strengthening on logistics management.

Term and Location: Fixed term position till December 2013 for Dhangadhi under Far West Region Office.

Required Qualification: At least Bachelor’s degree (Master degree preferred) in Business Administration and more than 3 years of experience in logistics and procurement management.

Required Knowledge and Skills: S/he should have experience in logistics and procurement management. S/he should have good planning, monitoring, report writing and organizing skills with an ability to work in good coordination with the team in order to provide efficient support. S/he should be able to work in complex environment with multiple tasks, short deadlines and intense pressure to perform. Fluency in written and spoken Nepali and English and Computer skill is a must. Ability to work under pressure/stress and adjust to difficult living and working condition will be added benefit for the position. S/he should be reliable, accountable, result oriented, should have highest level of integrity and good team player who values diversity.

Finance Officer (2 Positions)

The Finance Officer will be working for maintaining efficient and effective financial management. S/he will be responsible for providing financial support and onsite technical support as well as guidance on overall financial management at partner NGOs level. The responsibilities also include preparing vouchers, generating payment vouchers, establishing standard record keeping and filing system; ensuring timely payment and settlement of advances; preparing monthly financial update and reports to ensure compliance and smooth management of financial transaction and book keeping. In addition, s/he will have to coach and guide partner’s staff; coordinate with relevant stakeholder, monitor and supervising program budget.

Term and Location: Fixed term – i) Six months, Based in IIam with frequent field visit to Taplejung  ii) Upto Dec 2013, with possibility of extension based in Nepalgunj with frequent field visit

Required Qualification: At least Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and at least 3 years of experience in financial and accounting.

Required Knowledge and Skills: S/he should possess good knowledge & understanding of financial and accounting standard, government laws, auditing standard, budget planning, compliances and accounting skill. S/he should be sound in monitoring, negotiating and coordinating.  S/he should be a good team player, have good time management skills and hands-on experience of working in accounting software, partner finance coaching and monitoring will be an asset. The candidate should also have some knowledge on program management and be sound in both written and spoken English and Nepali language.
